WINTER is Here!

WE FINALLY HAVE THE PROGRAM FOR EDITING THE SITE AGAIN!

We will be posting pics and updates of what's been going on with us for the last year... PEACE!!!

CARTER HAS ARRIVED

We are so excited to announce that Carter Joseph Gray entered this world on Friday July 18th at 1:14 pm.  He was 8 pounds and 7 ounces, 21 inches long!!  He is healthy and the mom is healing herself.  It was very exciting weekend watching him sleep and make new faces.  We were hoping he would eat more, but we are sure that will come in time.  We are so happy for Carey and Trevor, and wish them the best with their new adorable family member!  Welcome to the family Little Carter, we can't wait to spend a lot of time with you as you begin to have a lot of firsts.

CONGRATS GRAY FAMILY!!!

Summer Fun

I know the pictures are not that great, but since our PC broke we have limited updating resources.  So we figured this was better than nothing.  So far we have had a busy and fun summer (other than Shannon's minor injuries along the way).  We have been to many baby showers for the upcoming Gray addition, a couple of weddings, bar crawls, and more!  We even got to hang out with the Quatmans, which is always a good time. Due to showers and weddings our travels have been limited to NOVA and NC but hopefully we will see the beach before the summer is over!!

We are still looking for some new software for our updates, but hopefully we will be up and running when the baby gets here.  We are counting down the days till we meet baby Gray!  Check back in the upcoming weeks for an announcement!

Still Having Fun in 2008

The past couple of weekends we have gotten to hang out with our Sobo and RIC friends, and even make some new friends.  We have continued to see new places in RIC and even got to eat at the new O Sole Mios in Sobo.  Here are a few pictures from our adventures downtown celebrating our friend Grey's birthday, and hanging around the house.  Now that we have sprung forward we are hoping to have more good times with our friends, and maybe even get to spend some time outside!

The countdown to the Powell 10K-Ger begins.   Can't wait to get in shape for April 5th!  BUT, before then we have a lot of fun celebrations coming up in the next couple of weeks.... St. Patty's, Easter, Birthdays and more Birthdays... can't wait for all of the fun!

Party Animals!

More pictures of our children (cats) and our friend Colleen's puppy dogs.  Yes, we are animal lovers!  We hope you enjoy their pictures as much as we enjoy spending time with our (and our friend's) pets!  These pictures bring a new meaning to "Partying like an animal" ;-)

So Far in 2008...

To get through the winter weather (fluctuating from 20 degrees to 70 degrees) we have stayed busy with trips down to Sobo, the Fan, and up to NOVA for some special celebrations.  We have been hanging out with friends down in the Fan, and trying some new restaurants in the area.  It is nice to be in Richmond more now that football season is over (boo).  We also had the pleasure of joining Jimmy and Kim at the South Boston "Cross Your Heart" gala, which Stellar Media (the reason you are reading this now) sponsored.  It was a great time, with good food, dancing, and friends!  Then to top the year off thus far, we got to celebrate another wonderful year of fun with Dad Rainey, by attending a G-Town vs. Notre Dame basketball game in DC.  Although the game was not as exciting as it could have been (I am not even sure if Notre Dame showed up), we had a great time with Mom and Dad Rainey, the Grays, and the Gleeds.  We look forward to celebrating again next year!

We are continuing to travel and stay busy in 2008.... and hope our good health and pure fun continues throughout the year!

Mittens Celebrating the New Year!

My cat Mittens, who lives with Grandma and Grandpa Rainey (aka foster mom and dad), was taking in some sun on New Years Day before the Christmas tree was put away for another year.  She is a beautiful, prissy, spoiled white cat, who thinks she should be named "Princess".  Since we got some pictures of her step brothers this Christmas, I thought it was only fair to get some pictures of her as well.

She is quite a pretty cat!

Christmas Day Photos

Here are some picture of our Christmas Day.  From the morning at the Avery's to the afternoon with the Quatmans.  It was another fun Christmas.  It is just amazing to see the toys kids get today and how excited they get about Santa's visit.  With an Escalade, Jeep, Marshmallow gun, fire truck, and the list goes on.... I forgot how fun Christmas can be when you still believe in Santa Claus.

Here are some photos of our holiday.....

Thanks for Visiting!!
